You may already be familiar with some of the mobile application options available for your iPhone, but you may not know about others. Here are some familiar ones, and one or two that may not be so familiar:
- Music downloads capability.
You can download music from practically any artist in any genre. You may have to pay a small royalty fee, but many places offer discounts or allow you to make unlimited downloads if you take out a subscription. Check with your AT&T wireless coverage supplier to find the latest deals on music downloads.
Practically any phone will take a picture and let you send it, and may allow you to “tweak” it a bit. iPhone cameras, however, allow you to adjust for light intensity and other things for a sharper, clearer picture.
- Watching TV shows.
It is now possible to watch your favorite TV shows without even being at home. For a small fee (ninety-nine cents per show in some cases), you can order that episode you missed last night and watch it while you’re on your lunch break or while you’re waiting in the carpool line.
You are no longer limited to a few basic games that came with your cell phone. Now you can actually set up your game center so you can play games with your friends. If they’re not available, you can still go to the game center and find other players who are. You never know; you just might make a new friend, or several of them for that matter.
These mobile applications are in addition to those that can apply to the phone usage itself. So now you can do just about anything you need to at any time. Who would have ever thought mobile phones would one day support so much technology?
